Telephone system upgrade

With effect from 1st December 2022 our telephone system is being upgraded and patients will now have options to select when they dial the Practice.

Option 1 is for patients seeking an appointment, or who have a general enquiry

Option 2 is for patients seeking repeat prescriptions via telephone, a service which is available 10.00am-1pm Monday-Friday.

PLEASE NOTE THAT REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS CAN ONLY BE REQUESTED BY TELEPHONE USING OPTION 2 DURING THESE TIMES. OPTION 1 CANNOT BE USED TO ORDER REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS.

The upgraded telephone system will help to reduce telephone queue waiting times and address recent issues we have experienced with some telephone calls being disconnected by the previous system.

Demand on our telephone lines remains extremely high, and has increased further over recent weeks. Our teams are working very hard to provide the best possible level of care to our patients and we thank you for your understanding when waiting to speak to one of our staff.
