The practice operates a zero tolerance policy against verbal and physical abuse. Should a patient become abusive they will be asked to refrain from such actions. If the desired response is not achieved the person will be asked to leave the building or, if on the telephone, the phone call may be terminated and, in some circumstances, the person may be removed from the practice list.

In the case of physical abuse the police will be contacted and charges made.
