NEW:  More GP Appointments Released

In January 2018 we were working with NHS England to offer extra appointments; this is because we know that there are times when you want to be able to see a GP at short notice.  We also know that over winter lots of people have seasonal illnesses which require more than a pharmacy but don't need emergency treatment.

The extra appointments are available on the day by ringing Reception on the usual number.

If you are not able to attend an appointment for whatever reason, PLEASE let us know so we can then offer your appointment to someone else who needs it.

Please call in to book your appointment or contact Reception who will be able to do this

for you.

With effect from Tuesday 2nd January 2018, the Dispensaries at both sites now close between 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m.

This is a change from the previous closing time of 12.30 - 1.30 p.m.

Emergency Contraception Services are now available, free of charge, from the East Harling Pharmacy.

In addition the Pharmacy is also able to provide free condoms for patients aged 13-24.

If  for any reason you are unable to attend an appointment you have booked

let us know so we can offer that appointment to someone else who needs it.

  Named Accountable

All patients at the Surgery are able to see their GP of choice but each patient has a 'Named Accountable GP' on their clinical record.  If you do not already know who your named GP is, please ask at Reception.  Whilst your named GP has overall responsibility for you please feel free to request an appointment with any GP at the Practice.

PPG Newsletter

Our PPG has produced a Newsletter which is available from Reception/Waiting Rooms at both sites or you can go to the Patient Group tab on the righthand side of this page and click on the link to view

on-line.  This will be a quarterly publication and we would welcome your feedback and suggestions for topics you may like covered in future editions.

   NHS Friends & Family Test

We would like you to have the best possible experience of care from us and the new NHS Friends & Family Test is a way of gathering information to enable us to review the care and service we provide.  The Test (Survey) is based on one simple question plus an optional follow up question, and the Practice has added a third question in order to gain as much feedback as possible regarding what you like and what you think we could improve.

The Friends & Family Test will be on-going and you are welcome to complete the Survey following any contacts, for any reason, with the Practice.  Paper copies of the Survey are now available at Reception and in the waiting rooms at both sites, together with a collection box for your completed forms.  Alternatively, you can click on the 'Friends & Family Test' link on the right hand side of this page under the heading 'Have your say' and complete the Survey on-line.

In order to be able to utilise this secure service, you will need to register.  To do this, you will need to visit the Surgery and ask for a Patient Access Registration form at Reception.  You must also bring a form of photographic ID with you as without this we will be unable to register you for this service.

NOTE:   For anyone who does not have photographic ID or is housebound and unable to attend the Surgery, please contact Mrs. R. Leech or Mrs. S. Ragg; we want as many patients as possible to be able to access this service and will do all we can to facilitate this.

The Practice runs a Patient Reference Group which consists of patients who have signed up to be contacted by us, via email, and canvassed for their views on the Practice and the services we provide.  We are always seeking new members and if you are interested in joining, please click on the Patient Group Link on the righthand side of this page for more information.
